In this course, students will survey the Old Testament.  They will learn how the Pentetuech (Genesis- Deuteronomy ) is foundational to all Scripture, how the following  historical books are prophetic in nature ( Joshua - Nehemiah)  and alongside were the major and minor prophets that prophesied to Israel. Finally, they will study the Writings that contain wisdom ( Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes), exalt marriage (Song of Songs) and express worship (Psalms). In term 1, we will study the Pentateuch, in term 2, the Prophets, and in Term 3, the Writings.
