• The King's School's mission trip in the spring of 2008 was to Aguascalientes, Mexico and the Children of Hope's future child care centre http://childrenofhope.domain7.com/TheOrphanages/DulceRefugio.html . Students and staff were gone over Spring Break from March 15 to March 28. The team's time was divided between construction work during the day and, evenings with either the children at the Dulce Refugio child care site or serving at various outreach events.  The team was grateful to God for His safekeeping, and for the privilege of giving to and receiving from another part of God's body.

  • This year's Missions Trip is with an organization called Operation Mobilization, OM, and we will be going to work with the headquarters in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  The connection is through a former student at the school, David van Rietschoten and his wife Matildes, who have been working for OM for a number of years.  The plans at this point are for us to: 1. Work with local youth groups through arranging "international volleyball". 2. Help with a food pantry in a slum area and assist in a children's program there. 3. Do some light construction and painting in a children's home. 4. Assist elderly people on an OM Argentina list who need assistance with maintenance in their homes. 5. Do whatever else comes up!

Please pray for our practical and spiritual preparations.
