God speaks and creates mathematically, and since he makes it possible for us to know Him, it must be possible for all of us, by His grace, to understand at least basic mathematics. This year we are going to cover problem solving, number operations, patterns, algebra, measurement, 2-D and 3-D objects and some statistics. I challenge students to seek God's help to understand if this subject doesn't come easily to them.
This is a provincial exam course. 20% of your final grade will be determined on the final exam. Course contents: numbers, tables, radicals, exponents, polynomial factoring and division, rational expressions, functions, linear equation graphing, volumes and areas, trigonometric ratios and problems, coordinate geometry, statistics and probability.
